An account of some peculiar craft technique stumbled upon during a late-night descent into obscure corners of forbiden tomes. A meditation on the philosophy of experimentation itself. Perhaps even a recipe that is neither beer, nor ink, nor soap, nor ferment, but simply something that needed to exist and had nowhere else to go.
This is the section where rigour loosens its collar. Where a sudden fascination with some arcane subject that seized me on a Tuesday afternoon is granted the dignity of documentation, however incomplete. Where the boundaries between disciplines — already thin throughout this site — dissolve entirely, and the only organising principle is the honest admission that curiosity does not respect categories.
